Appointment Book

Use SalonBiz Light to book appointments for up to four service staff members. You can customize the services to reflect each staff member’s timing. This eliminates overbooking and booking errors.
The SalonBiz Light appointment book gives you the ability to view the status of your service schedule in different view options. One option allows you to view a single service staff member’s schedule for a two week time period.
While you are reserving an appointment the SalonBiz Light the appointment book allows you to see the big picture of the entire appointment book for that day and not just the single appointment details giving you a great advantage so that you may maximize productivity when booking both individual and multiple service appointments.

Check In / Check Out

 The SalonBiz Light Check In / Check Out screen keeps your appointment schedule organized and allows easy access to important customer information.

Tickets

 Use SalonBiz Light to track customer visits, sell products and collect payments. You can discount products and services, and track the discounts daily, and SalonBiz Light automatically calculates taxes too

File Drawer

 Use SalonBiz Light to track a customer’s purchase history and keep a record of their interests, formulas and notes.
Each customer in the SalonBiz Light file drawer has an extensive record of his or her purchase activity. Whether it is retail products or services you will be able to see with a few clicks of the mouse their complete purchase history. 

Operations

 SalonBiz Light automatically stores all payment information so that you can monitor your daily sales. At the end of the day, simply reconcile all payments and SalonBiz Light will account for any errors.
Reconciling your cash is made easy with SalonBiz Light. During your closing process, you simply count the cash contents of your drawer and SalonBiz Light will automatically calculate the totals for you.
Closing the day compiles the totals from the entire day’s activity including all sales transactions as well as any inventory adjustments and allows you to prepare and print a bank deposit.

Reports

SalonBiz Light provides basic reports on staff performance, inventory movement, and sales activity. It provides a variety of reports you can use to monitor and evaluate your business.  Reports include:

Inventory

 Proper inventory management is the key to your business’ success. With SalonBiz Light you have the tools needed to monitor inventory, determine ordering quantities, and discover which products are selling.
Each individual product has it’s own individual specific product information stored in SalonBiz Light. All products have a file that houses vendor information, cost, retail pricing, etc. Current on-hand quantity is stored along with average cost of the product
You can create purchase orders manually or automatically based on your inventory levels.
Turn a Purchase Order into a Receiving Order with the click of a button. Receiving products from a purchase order is simple and organized you can even calculate discounts, tax and freight charges.
Regularly counting your inventory is important to effectively manage your inventory. SalonBiz Light makes inventory counts easy and efficient. Inventory counts can be created in a variety of ways such as categories or vendors. Once a count is created it can be sorted to make counting easy. 
Inventory adjustments are used when a product is taken out off of the shelf but is not sold. You can track the reasons for adjusting products for example color as professional use and testers for internal use.

Blueprints

 The initial setup of your system is just as important as the ongoing maintenance. Using SalonBiz Light Blueprints gives you the tools necessary to maintain inventory, customer, service, and staff information.
Creating and maintaining the services you offer is made easy in SalonBiz Light Blueprints. You can add and edit services as needed. You can even add helpful descriptions of each service that aid in the booking process.
You can easily view, add and edit the services offered by a staff member, the price and time it takes to perform the service.
